will be collaborating with four visual artitsts:
Alley Horn, Maya Stackhouse, Iris Wechsler, & Suyi Xu
and live ambient sketches for modular synthesizer by
Micah Frank
Landline will be celebrating the release of their debut album with a
four-part concert. The band will be collaborating with four visual artists who
will be creating works on individual surfaces throughout the performance.
The artists will rotate canvases at the end of each set so that by the end of
the event, each artist will have worked on each other’s pieces. This is a
visual response to the “broken-telephone” method that the band used to
compose the repertoire for their new release. Sound design and modular
artist, Micah Frank, will be performing generative sketches for synthesizer
between each set.
